Synopsis

Schadoh Aphenithea has always looked up to her older sister and willingly follows in her footsteps, venturing out into the new realm where humans and other strange creatures exist.

Unexpectedly, Schadoh meets Dakota who turns out to be her best friend and protector. With the threat of vampires invading Loxy and Earth, she will need all the help she can get when the portal to her realm is closed. She is forced to remain in the earth realm and live as a human. Something she finds is not quite as easy as it looks from the wall of mists. Schadoh must learn to co-exist in the earth realm while keeping the secret that other realms exist.
MaryLynns Inspiration

As a kid, I used to keep my nose buried in books, often reading two or three a day on weekends, and always one a day during the week. Because I read so much, I babysat to buy my own books. Of course I had access to the ones from the library, but I wanted to keep them as my own. Reading so many stories, after a while I started to wonder why the author had the character do this or that. I would come up with my own alternate story and write that down.

So, I guess you can say reading really inspired me to write. When I was asked to write a post of where I get my inspiration to write certain story I didn’t have to stop and think about it. Just about anything and everything I see can give me one of those ah ha moments, triggering a thought. I get a flash and the entire story will play through my head like a short movie. I just have to remember to write it down or all the movies can turn into a jumbled mess.

Another inspiration for my stories is my extremely vivid dreams, not to mention my imagination. I know my dreams helped me through several of my stories when I wasn’t sure what was going with it. I go to bed, lay there thinking about it, the story plays through my mind as I fall asleep. When I wake up, I usually have it worked out and wonder why I hadn’t thought of that before. I just wish I could write while sleeping…that would make it so much easier!

Thank you for sharing a bit about yourself with us, MaryLynn and giving us a glimpse into your very creative mind.
