Cover Reveal and Free Read

Welcome to all the newcomers who recently signed up to
receive my newsletter, either from the Love and Fifty Author Signing in
Sacramento or through the giveaway by Once Upon An Alpha, thank you
for signing up. To all you seasoned readers, thanks for sticking with me.

I try to send out a newsletter whenever I have
stuff to share that I think you want to know about, but remember, if it ever
becomes too much, please feel free to unsubscribe at any time.

For those of you who don’t know me, I write both
Paranormal and Contemporary Romance. Mostly on the steamy side. Some of my
books are more descriptive in that area than others, but they all contain sex.
Except of course, my one and only YA novel, Allusive Aftershock. I had a hard
time keeping the heat out of that one so I haven’t written another YA story
since. But I’ll never say never.
Because I love those three young adults in that book.

I have a new release coming May 6th, 2016

*A new, sizzling addition to the exciting and
tantalizing world of the Immortal Hearts of San Francisco series. *

*Each book in the Immortal Hearts of San Francisco
series will follow a different couple.*

This one is Captivated by a Vampire

And if you’ve read Tempted by a Vampire, you will remember
Chelle, the new vampire that Lane accidentally turned and felt responsible for.
Well, she’s trying to find her place in the new and frightening world of the
undead and the supernatural, and during her very first solo feed, she collides (literally) into Josh,
the reporter. Oh my, do sparks fly!

Blurb:

She's a vampire. He's human and the best investigative
reporter in the city. Their worlds mix as well as oil and water, but their
attraction to each other is electric.

Josh Barrett knows
his priorities—reporting the news as quickly and accurately as possible by day,
drinking himself into a self-loathing stupor by night. His workaholic
tendencies can’t completely mask the broken, depressed man he is inside. The
horrific night that changed his life forever and left him broken-hearted and
alone is forever fresh in his thoughts. But the torture is no less than he
deserves. Until a beautiful, sexy, and utterly mysterious woman enters his life
and changes everything. Chelle is absolutely enchanting, her allure captivating
and the reporter in him is determined to learn all of her secrets.

Newly turned vampire Chelle Masterson only wants to
find her place. Her unrequited love and devotion for her maker Lane has left
Chelle broken, vowing to never fall for any man again. She’s determined to find
her way in the scary new world of the immortals and begs for the chance to
prove herself—to prove that she’s capable of surviving without the others. Unfortunately,
she meets trouble head-on with her very first victim and ends up face to face
with a very charming and handsome stranger. He seems to only want to help, but
can she trust him?

As Josh slowly wins Chelle over, she decides to
utilize his skills as a reporter to help uncover her past—a dark past that she
cannot remember, but one she desperately needs to learn. Being around him is
addicting, their connection undeniable, and she finds her will to keep him at
arm’s-length dwindling.

The simple act of a Good Samaritan spirals into an
obsession—much more than either of them thought possible. Their love becomes
unfathomable, but it may not be enough to overcome the hurdles standing in
their way…

*This read is
recommended for ages 18+ due to mature content.

Hot New Release Coming & Winner Announced

I’ve been MIA and  I apologize. I’m on the home stretch of the 2nd book in the Immortal Hearts of San Francisco Series and I’m on a roll. Let me tell you, this book is

The last few chapters are intense and they have been keeping me glued to my story. This book was supposed to be finished last month, but then I broke my leg. Ugh. The first couple of weeks I couldn’t write because of the pain meds messing with my head and making me extremely sleepy. Then finding a comfortable spot to sit and work was another problem. I’ve finally situated myself at the kitchen table, in a wheelchair with a pillow so I am tall enough to type without craning my neck. My leg is propped up on and resting on the leg holder of the wheelchair.

I don’t have a release date, yet. But I am planning a cover reveal in the next week, so stay tuned for that. I will announce the release date in the cover reveal and provide a pre-order link at that time.

March 1st slipped by me and I hadn’t picked a winner for this month’s giveaway. So, without further ado,

The winner of the March Newsletter Contest is:
Sandra
Goodrich.

Congratulations, Sandra. You won my monthly

newsletter giveaway! Look for an email from me soon!

Thanks for sticking with me. I appreciate your support so very much.

February was a hard month for me. Breaking my leg the day after Valentine’s day was tough. The ski slope was not my friend that day.

It was a week before the Love and Fifty Author Signing in Sacramento and I didn’t think I was going to be able to make it. But my husband pulled through for me and offered to help. He pushed me around in my wheelchair and helped me set up and take down my table. He also volunteered to
take pictures of all the other 42 authors for the entire event. (Yes, there were supposed to be 50, but life happens sometimes at the last minute to change things) We managed to have a blast and I met some new authors and readers and saw some special friends. Here I am with some of my besties, Crazy Authors Anne Eliot, Ginger Scott, and Amber Garza. And the chick from Four Chicks Flippin Pages Review blog (awesome assistants) Kitty Love, Michelle Tan, and Neilliza Swaffar.
We had a blast.

Beautifully Undone Front Black and Pink
Synopsis
He was broken.
Full of hate and sorrow.
He was the love of her life, but she could never have him.
Asher Beaumont never asked for much in life. All he wanted was to play his guitar, write music, and be recognized and loved by his father. Unfortunately, that last desire was never realized. The bastard died when Asher was just a kid. Then thirteen years later, his mother dies of a brain tumor, shattering him even more and leaving him hating everyone around him, except for his two best friends, Melody Stevens and her brother, Teddy.
Melody Stevens has crushed on her best friend, Asher Beaumont her entire life. But it's always been a secret passion. Never something she'd act upon. But when she tells Asher she's prepared--and determined--to lose her virginity to a guy he considers to be nothing more than a cad who sleeps with anything that wears a skirt, her best friend offers her a proposition she can't really refuse.
When Asher stumbles across a letter left by his mother before her death, begging him to seek out his half-brothers, he and Melody begin a journey of discovery. Their travels lead them to the two brothers he has spent his life despising because they had the life he always wanted. While on their trip, they discover a miracle they never, ever considered.

AboutTheAuthor
Susan Griscom writes paranormal and contemporary romance. She daydreams often, and sometimes her daydreams interrupt her daydreams. She loves when a story takes hold and pulls her into the fantasy. She’s hooked on sexy romances and is a huge fan of superheroes and bad boys confronted with extraordinary forces of nature, powers, and abilities beyond the norm mixed with steamy romance, of course. She lives in Northern California with her romantic husband and together they have five great superhero kids and eight mini-superhero grand kids, so far. Aside from daydreaming, she's a voracious reader, but she loves those days when she gets to sit around in her sweat pants, writing emotionally charged stories about love and violence fueled with chocolate chased with a gallon of coffee.
