Quote from Adam’s tattoo – “MAY MY INNER DEMONS BE BOUND BY HONOR AS THE BATTLE OVER THE INFLUENCE OF MY ACTIONS”

Welcome MaryLynn and thank you for describing your typical day to us.

MaryLynn: When Susan posed the question what do you do as a writer from the time you get up until you go to bed, I thought that’s easy…I write.  But there is more to it than that. I work with a company who is a contractor for the US military. Currently contracts are being negotiated for start dates so I have been on standby to go back to work and this enables me to dedicate more time to writing. When working, I travel all over the US and have been to Japan and S. Korea. My time away from home is usually three months at a time spent in hotel rooms. I get up at five am to start my day. Get my team out on their assignments, then I work on my reports and sneak in a bit of reading or writing as the day allows. As soon as I get back to my room, the laptop comes back out and I start working on my stories until it’s time to go to bed, usually around one am, then get up at five to start all over again.

When I am not out on assignment, I sleep when I feel like (which is not much) and write as much as I can. I find myself spending a majority of my time blogging, participating in blog tours, reviewing other people’s books and tweeting about my upcoming stories as well as helping to promote other authors. Oh, I can’t forget to mention I am a Facebook junkie. Constantly checking for updates on comments and trying to stay active on my page and other people’s pages as well. I spend quality time with a friend on Skype talking about anything and everything as well as chatting with people through Facebook and on yahoo chat. All this is done while I am writing most of the time. A good thing I have always been good at multi-tasking.  This keeps me busy while I wait to go back to work and start the vicious cycle over again.
I love it when fans contact me wanting more stories or asking about books that are out, telling me how much they love them are such an inspiration. I keep writing to keep everyone happy and because I enjoy the creative outlet.

My Review of Werewolf Bound

When I found out that MaryLynn was having a blog tour for Werewolf Bound, from her Heart of a Wolf Series, I jumped on, no questions asked. At the time, I hadn’t read any of the series, but I’d heard so many wonderful things about it, I had to join in. I’m so glad I did. I was told that it didn’t matter that I hadn’t read the first book, No Remorse, yet, because they are all standalone books. Werewolf Bound was a complete joy to read.
A quick read, Werewolf Bound is Adam Channing’s story. I like that name. Adam is a seventeen-year-old human boy bitten by the brothers of the girl he thinks is the one. Patricia Dufur wants to change Adam so that he would be accepted into her family, but things don’t go as planned and he is left for dead. Adam’s best friend Blake, another werewolf, finds him and changes him so he won’t die. The story goes on as Adam learns the traits of being a werewolf but I can’t go into anymore without giving too much away.
I don’t read many werewolf stories, but out of the few I’ve read, Werewolf Bound is at the top. Now I need to read the first book in the series, No Remorse and I’m looking forward to it. MaryLynn, you have a new fan. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to read your book and be a part of your tour.
